Well Thankfully we had some nice places last week to compensate for Scottie’s woeful putting display. His performance was similar to the old Scottie before he employed putting guru Phil Kenyon pre Ryder Cup in 2023.
Thank you Seb Straka and Shane Lowry For coming T5 and 7th respectively. Their place odds meant a healthy 28.5 points and 86% profit on the week. This week is the turn for the strongest field of the year at the Players home to the iconic island green 17th at TPC Sawgrass.

Preview
This week we turn our attention to the strongest field in golf so far this year. The Players (dubbed the 5th Major) is the pro’s tournament. In order to gain entry to this elite tournament you have to be highly world ranked, have to have hit some stellar recent form or have recently won.
TPC Sawgrass is located at PGA Tour’s global home at Ponte Vedra Beach, with the tournament taking place in mid-March every year as part of a run of Florida-based events on the calendar.
It is s stern test and designed for the best. Driving Accuracy comes out on top from a statistical point of view but an all round game is required to emerge victorious.
The purse at the Players is $25 million, with $4.5 million going to the winner along with 750 FedEx Cup points.
The champion of The Players Championship secures far more than the $4.5 million prize. They gain significant status, including a five-year exemption on the PGA Tour and automatic entry into all major championships for the next three years. This victory also sparks early betting excitement, particularly for the upcoming Masters at Augusta National.
